Xenon Disco 4
Hi,
I know this has probably been discussed many times but I can't find the info I need despite lots of searches and a few hours of reading various threads.
I have a Disco 4 commercial. I also have some xenon headlights with LEDs that I have fitted but do not work. They did work for a short time and then one or the other works intermittently. I have removed them and fitted standard halogen headlights without LEDs.
Land Rover are no help whatsoever, they say the xenon's will not work due to their high power demand and the canbus system.
I guess I need a techie type chap with the knowledge and ability to reprogram the canbus system to accept the new xenon head units.
Does anybody know such a chap anywhere in Hampshire?

My MY15 Commercial was exactly the same until Thursday
All perfect now. I can actually see!26 and on the 4th LR..
Series 2a 1963 88'' 2.25 Derv as original with Galv chassis
Disco 1 1996 V8 on LPG (sold now)

Quite a few people on here can do it. Try messaging Geoff.
Or you can have a go yourself with a diagnostic tool. I have a nanocom which I had for my disco3 but I haven't as yet bought the license for my 4. You need to read up on them fully though.26 and on the 4th LR..
