Yuasa Black or Silver
Can anyone answer the quick question on the Yuasa battery sold by Halfrauds? (I need a new one for ease I am going to Halfrauds)
Yuasa Black £136, with a lifetime guarantee - 900 Amps CCA - 95Ah - SMF
Yuasa Silver £105, with a 5 guarantee - 900 Amps CCA - 100Ah - SMF
The question is, I don't see me having the D4 for another 5 years so why spend more on a lower Ah battery? Am i missing something.2010 Disco 4 HSE

No, you're missing anything. If you are not keeping the D4 past 5 years, you can't lose.Richard

Yeah - Thats what I thought.. Save myself £30 and get an extra 5Ah...
5 years is still a long time, I love the D4 but I normally change every 3 or 4 years, and by that time will want a newer D4...2010 Disco 4 HSE

I installed a silver at the weekend as per my previous post. I did the battery replacement on the IID and also set the battery type to an undefined - as the ones listed in the IID did not match the spec of the battery.
I used the IID this morning to reset the one touch windows, but noticed when the engine is running the voltage is between 12.0V and 12.2V - With the old battery and the engine running it was showing a lot higher?2010 Disco 4 HSE
