12v power supply to power rear and front
Hi all
Im thinking of putting a power feed to front of discovery 3 and 4 via the grill .
Rear feed needs to be heavy duty to power tipper trailer direct and for jumping plant.
Never done this so words of wisdom of those who have .

I have this set up in mine and ran two heavy duty 175amp cables from the front aux battery (drivers side) down and along the chassis to the rear towing cover by the rear electrics with a 175amp Anderson connecter on it.
For the front I have the same 175amp cables coming out through the grill
I am going to be modding this hopefully in the next week or so so be a bit neater and add some extra cabling ready for the winch install off the cranking battery
Hope this helps and there are some more pics in my gallery I think I will try and dig them out

No as long as you are running the engine with some revs on then there would not be a problem
