4.4tdv8 swap

Hey all wanting to find out if it is possible to fit the tdv8 into a disco 3 or fitting the disco 3 to a Range Rover sport tdv8 chassis

Probably additional 0.8l of cubic capacity.
4.4 has been swapped and it's been done on your side of the globe. Get in touch with Cameron from https://oldjaguar.com
Mind you, this is also a transmission swap, as the 6HP would be torn to bits with the 4.4 torque. Wojtek

RRS chassis is 13" shorter so that wont work, easier to find a wreck and swap all the parts over like Disco Mikey did. That is the 3.6 and the 4.4 would be a whole other major job.

Engine swop. M57 bmw 3.0 diesel in a Disco3.
Has anyone done this. I know they put it in RRover, so I'm thinking can this unit be transplanted into a D3?

BTW the fact that the M57 was offered in the FFRR has nothing to do with the Disco. Different architecture. Wojtek
