At 50,000 miles what is it wise to be doing?

I would appreciate the benefit of the massive wealth of knowledge and experience on this forum gents

I have decided to keep my D4 (road use only) for the forseeable future even though it has just dropped out of warranty. I’m going to self warranty (£200/month standing order into a spare account) and risk the crankshaft lottery....
I am able to service it myself (I will be changing the oil every 10,000 miles, currently at 50,000) but what else would it be wise to be doing in view of the mileage covered so far? Its been trouble free and I am keen to look after it.

Jobs done to date
Spare wheel now secured (tatty old wheel fitted as well)
Rear light clusters secured
Head lights secured
Using Divanti super quiet tyres
GPS tracker fitted

Plan to do
Change gearbox oil?
Charge engine oil every 10,000 miles
Fuel burning heater - get serviced or replace???
Try and get mapped out the horrible delay when you press the go pedal

Any thoughts on what I have missed out and should be doing will be brilliant thanks

Cover the crappy rust prone steel brake pipes in grease front to back, including under all the clips, and above and around the rear diff area. It’s a sh*tty job, but worth it IMO. Mine is nearly 16 yrs old, I did this job at approx 4 to 5 yrs old, and it hasn’t needed metal brake pipes yet. Now I’ve said that, It’ll probably dump all its brake fluid next time I go down Porlock Hill, or such like Shocked Laughing
D3 owned from new, P017 brake recall, BAS FBHIC, new FBH, LR013487 oil pump, new water pump. RRS front lower suspension arms. New suspension compressor/ relay. New Denso alternator. CuNifer rear brake pipes. New GKN rear propshaft. New HPFP belt & tensioner. New A/C Condenser.NO WARRANTY for many many years.

Was that not sorted on later cars?

Gearbox flush rather than just oil change

Getting a nice little list of extra stuff together gents;

Cover brake lines in Wax oil

The one that seems to give issues on later models, certainly MY16 is the earth strap from the engine block to the chassis, by the offside front wheel, behind the inner wheel arch liner.

Do the 2nd turbo shorter pipe mod if not done (16MY so should have been built with it)

Get a list to hand of LR parts suppliers - lrparts .com, Autopost,

Maybe winter wheels and tyres
