Air suspension again!

I have been getting intermittent suspension faults and the front end has been sitting lower after a few hours.

I thought it might be the front valve block so replaced that and also found both pipes to the front airbags had been joined in the past so ran some new pipes and joined them near the air bags.

End result: front end refuses to lift and getting error code C1131-92 and C1A20-64

Any suggestions on where to look next?

It has had the compressor replaced a few years ago with a AMK copy. I don’t want to start replacing that if it turns out to be something else.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Maybe need to go back to square one. It was working prior to replacing pipes, so put old ones back and see what happens. Prior to that get some soapy water and spray all the joints and look for bubbles.

I did that soaked everything in soap but no bubbles. The front had stopped rising properly which had led me to suspect an air leak.

Next plan is to temporarily run a new pipe from the centre valve block to the front and see if that helps.

How hard is it to test/inspect the airbags?

Front ones arent too bad but you do need to extend them to find some of the leaks.

Presumably you just need to persuade the car to go into ‘super extended’ mode.

I have spent the morning checking every pipe and valve block I can get at. I have sprayed it all with soapy water including the front struts and found nothing.

When checking the live data the gallery pressure gets up to about 720kpa which I believe is approx half what it should be. After 20 seconds of the pump running it throws a fault and the pressure drops to 100ish which I think is atmospheric pressure.

Is that going to be a leak or a very weak compressor?

Just put it into off road height the jack up and remove a wheel then spray all around with soapy water. Dont forget to do the top as well.

Can’t get it to do anything at the moment. Front stuck down on the bump stops Sad

Try bridging the relay under the bonnet so that the compressor runs
