Airplay in the D3?
In now use an old iphone in the cubby connected to the aux to listen to Spotify. Its okay but not very convenient.
I came across this device called Airenabler which allows Airplay through Wifi. Does somebody use this or a similar alternative?

Well since the experience seems to be zero to none I ordered an Airenabler from the US to wireless stream music from my iPhone through the Aux to the Disco's stereo. Just like I do at home with the Apple airport.
Also ordered a ground loop to eliminate the (low)staticnoise from the aux.
I'll post an update in this thread once installed.CLUB ILLEGAL CAR WASHERS

Please do, I've been looking for something like this as anything connected to from headphone to aux needs stereo volume to be set at unbelievable levels...

Haha, I know but my wife knows better. I keep scaring the life out of her when she gets in the car and switches from aux to FM CLUB ILLEGAL CAR WASHERS

Well mine needs to be at about level 25 where the music can just be heard but the static is unbearable. Can you imagine what happens when satnav gives you a kind message? YOU WANT TO OBEY!!!
I think there's something wrong with my aux connector though, dealer looked and with their lead in their car it's ok, with their lead in my car it's useless.

Installed the Airenabler in the car today. Easy to set up and works flawless. Great to have Airplay now with my Spotify account. It takes the Airenabler 30 seconds to start up and come up with the Wifi signal.
Connected it to the aux through a ground loop to get rid of interference and staticnoise.
Can confirm it does work Wiljo CLUB ILLEGAL CAR WASHERS

Thanks Pascal.
If only I could be sure the volume problem would be fixed when I cut into the audio wiring in the footwell.

I can login to the Airenabler and adjust the volume output.
If I set it to max it's much louder then normally balancing out the FM and AUX volume.
Its still louder but not that much anymore.CLUB ILLEGAL CAR WASHERS
