Second one is easily fixed. Take the tin out of the glovebox Thumbs Up Or hold the car on 1200 revs when idling.
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Might be the leather squeaking where it touches / rubs against the seat body - my old D2 had this problem which periodic sprays of GT85 or WD40 cured (depending on which aroma you prefer). Have a look down the sides especially as the seat squab is pushed out when you sit on it.

I am always surprised at the liberal use of vaseline by car owners.....vaseline is actually quite a nasty corrosive substance which degrades rubber & other car materials very quickly given the right conditions.... the only place this substance should be used in a car is on the battery terminals..... Shocked
