Axle seal leak- front

Hi, I have a leak where the CV on the right side connects to the intermediate shaft....the "barrel" of the CV is damp. I read somewhere that the seal is integral to the CV axle, is that true? It looks like LR combines the CV axle with an intermediate shaft. Where is the seal? Is there also a bearing there too?

Thanks!

Not quite sure where you are describing?

Do you mean CV grease is on the drive shaft? Right hand Front?

There's diff oil on the right side CV (driver's side for RHD, passenger for LHD) where it comes out of the diff, on the thick round part of the CV.

Mine looks just like this pic

on the diff end of it. (the wetness) I'm trying to figure out if the seal is inside the diff or if the seal is part of the CV axle assembly....I've read both.

Thanks!
