BAS Remap MPG?
Ive had my disco 3 2009 Diesel for about 7 months now and I'm loving it. I have an IID tool and am thinking about getting it remapped through BAS to get rid of the flat spot when pulling away at junctions and to improve the mpg. Can anyone give any indication of the improvement in MPG following the remap?

I didn't notice any improvement in mpg. But, it makes the car go like it should do.

I believe that I got an improvement of 1 to 1.5 MPG, but as Tayaste says it's all about better performance.

Forget the excuses, just do it, completely transforms the drive, having more torque(masses) allows the car to be in an higher gear for the same speed and makes it quiter, more economical and much faster
Bodsy did mine It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

You don't map for economy, you map for more power/torque
That said, after Gary @ Alive done my remap, I saw an increase of +5mpgMy D3 Build Thread

Just get a BAS remap. This is a three tonne brick so mpg will always be bad.

I have remapped D3's with 230k miles, with no issues. Just bear in mind that a remap does put extra stresses on the engine...My D3 Build Thread

Redgul;
You wouldn't say that if you drove one that has been done, it still does not produce as much power or torque as a D4 3.0It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
