Disco 3 whining. Any suggestions

Hi there my disco has started whining. It’s been doing it since a rather wet Greenlaning trip on Salisbury plain

Any who! Whistle

She starts whining at around 20mph and peaks at 70. Still whines in neutral.

Seems to only be road speed related not engine speed

Changed to oil in the front diff today. But did not improve it.

All props seems solid, no play.

I have notice the EPB makes a hell of a tacket it I try to use it. (Not something i normally use )

So I wonder if it worth changing all the brakes and looking at the EPB as the root cause of the whine ( though it feels like it’s at the front of the car..

Any thoughts and suggestions?

I would hazard a poke at front diff bearings..

Mine were shot on the D3.
Whined really bad.
Thought it was wheel bearings at first but eventually found the culprit.
If things were meant to be easy, then I will soon complicate them....
