Boot Space Stowage Nets

Bit of a long shot but.....

I'm after a set of stowage nets (not the luggage retaining net) to fit the indented 'pockets' in the rear panels.

They are the sort fitted to the 'base' models but unfortunately these are not available separately.

Has anyone got / seen anything that might do the job?

Cheers

Hi Ken,
I was wondering the same thing Question Question
- Steve Smith's got them on his - but then again what hasn't he got Whistle

The 'indents' are just wasted space that could be crammed full of cream eggs or other essential stuff Exclamation

The butler that comes with the car holds anything delicate Laughing

Seriously though, there has to be a PN somewhere? Sound really useful, was thinking a while back about adapting some spare sidenets from another car I had, but if there is real LR part...

I thought that the retaining nets were only fitted to 5 seat D3s....in the 7 seat versions they are used to give a bit more elbow room.

I've already asked TLO about these.

To get the nets you have to buy the panels with them pre-fitted. At around £100 a pop it's a no go.

I'll just have to make my own.

PMSL - takes a certain skill to present to camera, though I'm sure his nets are excellent!

Hi Stu,

Had a look at them - the measurements aren't really a good match.

I'm thinking about something along the same lines as the 'wired' ones using an old net I have and some coated wire.

If I can't make them then these may be the next thing but to get a neat fit they'd need a fit bit of 'tailoring' (as in butchering...)

Thanks for looking though Thumbs Up

I'm looking for similar myself, although I really want them with hooks to use on the load divider.

Stu,

Would the Defender bulkhead net with the additional fixing kit (£6) sold for the cargo net not do the job?

The kit seems to have a variety of hook fitting that you might be able to use through the cargo divider grid.
