BROKEN SUSPENSION UP/DOWN SWITCH - fixed my way
the down part of the suspensionswitch has always been a bit iff and it finally packed up yesterday so i decided to havvalooksie...
we all know how to remove the gear lever and switch pack ..
i had already removed the black cover on the board at this stage (2 screws and 4 clips)

the circuit board comes out after you pull the two lever caps off and also the terrainn responce knob
upon checking the contact surfaces the up/down ones were in a poor state, burned away almost

so with a steady hand, a desk magnifing lamp and some thin copper wire
i preceeded to remake a new contact surface, it aint pretty but whos gonna see

stuck it all back together
which resulted in....

How to remove gear lever etc
I've got the same problem as the originator of this thread except I don't know how to get to the switch????
Could someone point me in the right direction please?

Thanks a lot. Took mine apart and found that liquid must have spilled onto the circuit board under the rubber lever contact. Gave it a good clean with alco swab on the circuitboard and the little metal contact in the rubber button.
Working a dream now. Local dealer said you can't buy secondhand as the board is VIN locked so would show up errors.
