Thanks, I did not ask for an opinion, just cheap oil.
Each to their own, I choose to use it and on several high mileage cars, which did 250k miles before I sold them and the engines were still going strong.
Thanks though for bumping the Post.

Interesting thanks. I used TSO in my old D3 for a while when it was thought to be of benefit - shan't bother again given this research. D4 2014
1965 Land Rover series 2A (200Tdi)
2011 D4 XS - OBD port protection, RLD spare wheel protector, All LED interiors lights, Timed Climate enabled, iiD tool paired.
2011 D4 Landmark - Stolen from same dealer before I paid for it
2011 D4 GS - Stolen whilst at dealer ... All LED interiors lights, DRLs, Spare Wheel protector.
1996 300Tdi - Eaten by tin worms
Patchouli oil - will discombobulate the greens.I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
tru dat ... but I'm sure that when I ran my 300tdi with 2SO, it was said then that it needed to be mineral. But that was a long time ago and
1. I could have misremembered
2. I can't find where I got that info from.
I do know that ASDA used to sell the stuff I needed but looks like they don't anymore so I can't check.
On the longest 2so thread on Martin’s forums it was a advised FB for non DPF, FC for DPF but not to use FD with a DPF due to being fully synthetic and leaving a residue, Yamaha Fan was quite informative on the topic when I was a frequent visitor few years back.
