Anyone care to comment on the dos and don'ts of buying a used HPFP for my 2006 D3 with 100k miles? 2016 D4 SDV6 Landmark
2006 D3 TDV6 manual (deid)
2003 D2 TD5 manual on B100 (sold)
1998 300TDi manual (sold)
1994 300TDi manual (sold)
1972 Range Rover manual, Perkins engine (sold)
1966 S IIA truck cab, broke in half (sold as a kit)

Make sure you get the right one, yours should be euro 3. Andrew

And you can use the EUR4 pump from a JAG! Since EUR4 JAG (S) = EUR3 LR pump
Maybe a lot cheaper

But just to clarify a Jaguar euro 4 pump is the same as a Land Rover euro 3 pump. Andrew

Yessss!
How do i know? I fitted a EUR4 JAG S type engine from 2007/8 incl HPFP pump and injectorrails etc. In my EUR3 D3 from 2005 (MY2006 model)
JAG did comply to EUR4 in a different way than LR did... Best regards

I fitted a reconditioned one to mine rather than 2nd hand, reconditioned by Siemens and came with a year warranty. A new one only comes with a years warranty!
