well took it in,they said they will have a look but sods law it did not smell this morning when i left it so doubt a good outcome tonight when i pick it up

Our local dealer has a short simulated offroad course, few ups down over logs etc, if yours has the same insist they do 10 laps in low range and see how it fairs? Disco3 is now gone but not forgotten. Waiting for Disco6 with full aluminium construction weight reduction and hybrid engine...

not sure if they do but when i got there tonight they said they took it for a drive but nothing was wrong and no smell.
what they did say was it was now recorded and would get done if the problem re appears
