When on holiday in France I hit a low lamp bollard with the rear nearside passenger door. On return home phoned Dent Devils who came, by appointment. Took about an hour, £75 and I stood and watched the guy do it. I cannot see the original location of the dent. First Class. Usual disclaimer. Just very satisfied

ron, I got a new screen last Jan uner warranty as only part of the screen was heating. They used the local Autoglas folks and have had no problems and noticed no difference.

Did that one have the RAI Derek?
If so, did Auotoglass remove/replace it?I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.

Ron - did the autoglass guys do the "windscreen repair" (cost?) and is it "level". Heard in previous posts that they can be raised and the affect the "swipe" of the wiper blades in the rain?
Got a bloody big chunk out of my windscreen - but can'r be bothered replacing it yet till I'm nearer needing to get an MOT. So was wondering about the repair option?

Yes, they repaired it FOC, but you can still see it.
But it won't now grow or crack with frost.
Wiper sweeps ok.
They did say I should have a new screen.
But don't fancy getting one.
My MOT is due in 3 months, I'll have it evaluated then.
They give you a certificat of repair [in case MOT bods need to see it's been dealt with].
