| D3 water leak drivers footwell |

Hi I am hoping someone will be able to help.
My D3 SE without sunroof/s has a water lying under the drivers side carpet. I have lifted the loose rubber mat (not holed) and water is oozing through the split in the rubber mat which is an integral part of the carpet. On lifting the carpet there is a significant amount of water the carpet is soaked as is the underside foam then using cloths the water can be soaked up and rinsed out.
I have checked the door seals which seem ok. There is no sign of any damp/wet to touch on any trims/seals etc higher up.
I am concerned and would really appreciate any help anyone may be able to offer.

As there aren’t sunroof drains to worry about and you checked the door seals the likely contenders are via the heater blower unit intake - the lower pollen filter behind the glove box will be soaking if this is the case or the top channels where the trims are for the roof rack rails or via the rear boot seals Must stop buying shiny toys....

Otherwise prop the carpet up with a jar.
Sit in it. With a torch
Get someone outside with a hose pipe to spray the car
Start low down with the door seal. Then windscreen bottom area.
Check for water inside.
Then spray the roof rails.

Good luck - might be worth taking an aqua vac to the channel inside the door threshold trim to get the standing water out if you have one. Wiring loom inside the channel is a bit delicate as the spliced cabling can cause some issues if it stays wet for a long time. Must stop buying shiny toys....

By way of an update, I think the leak is solved! 🤞
Seems that the water was coming in through a hole in the A pillar. Needed to remove the outer A pillar trim which revealed suspected degraded foam seals. Land Rover sell a kit to fix this, but my research (mainly on YouTube and web searches) showed different methods of achieving the same fix.
I have adopted a slightly different approach, once I am satisfied the problem is 100% solved I
will do another update with pics and info about the LR fix and the others that I found.
My thanks again to darrind and peteK for the previous suggestions on how to try and fix this.
