Yes a fuse for each side. Fuses 15 and 18 in the engine fuse box, can't remember which fuse is which side of the screen.

Could also be earth connection.
That was the problem when mine stopped working on the passenger side.

It is Fuse 15 & 18 in my D4 handbook too (green, 30 amp). I'll pull out the wiring diagrams to check.

Fuses moving around between model years is not unusual but I am struggling with the idea that we cannot find the correct fuse.
Can you take some pictures, including the legend printed under the cover so we can work out what is going on?
If that gives us no idea can you run a test light or multimeter down all the fuses to see if any have blown?
I have also downloaded an MY12 owners handbook and it says fuse 15 is the heated screen and fuse 18 is the headlamp power wash 30 amp… hmmm… finding that very hard to believe.Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948

Anyone else struggling with the idea that an MY12 headlamp power wash draws enough power to warrant a 30 amp fuse?
It must have a hefty recoil when it operates!

Robbie have traced the fault to the small square fuses at the top of the engine bay fuse box, have never seen fuses like these, pen in one of the pictures points to them, two 30 amp fuses marked up as FL2 and 6.
Have also taken a picture of the plan for the fuses and F15 is not used on mine but looks like electric boot opener fro the picture, fuse 18 as you can see looks like headlamp washer.
Any thoughtsMY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

Had one of those fuses blow on my D3 (aux kit fused through it). ISTR called capsule fuse, couple of quid on Fleabay.
