DISCO3 keyring issues...
Hi chaps,
Sorry to waste your Friday evenings with such an insignificant problem, but I thought some tips could be found on here...
My Aunt ordered in a couple of DISCO3.CO.UK keyrings to replace the bits of card on string that were previously attached to the square key fobs.
However we cannot for the life of us get the ring to bend into the little metal hole in the corner of the keyfob! Has anyone else had this problem? It seems that there is a small ridge where the metal of the loop digs into and will not get through (if you know what I mean ) - it physically wont 'go'..
Any ideas?
EDIT: Just found this picture on the net:
We don't have that little hoop hanging off from the corner, which looks like the solution
Don't suppose there'll be a part number for that 2007 Porsche Boxster (987) 2.7

We have one in the village, and they specialise in keys and keyrings amongst other things. I got some small key rings like your photograph, and they are perfect for linking the D3 key to a normal ring
most places that cut keys will have various sizes of plain keyring that will do the job for under a £ I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Gareth, looks like there's one in town. I'll pop in this afternoon on my way in.

Just for info!
I keep a short lanyard on mine with a little hook clasp.
Great for being out and about, as I can just hook [or loop] onto my belt loop and pop the key in my pocket.
If it does happen to fall out, it aint going anywhere.
Also good for preventing 'pick-pockets'

I've just seen this post re the keyring thing and you will have probably sorted a solution by now but for future ref., the tiny rings can be bought at any Fishing Tackle shop! They are stainless steel and cost next to nowt!

The stealer "lost" my little key ring thingy so I just use a cut down cable tie.
