what is the recommended mileage or timescale to change the timing belts on a 3.0 sdv6

I'm not sure on time scale, usually around 5-7 years or 112000 miles.

Thanks guys, Im just about to buy a 2013 sdv6 with over 125000 miles (full service history) so it should have been done. any ideas on cost if its been missed as this will be negotiated into price

£600ish, if it's not been done at 125k don't risk driving it until it has Thumbs Up It can when others can't,

Rear HPFP belt is also timed to the engine and only some dealers can do this with the body on (special tools required).

Personally, I would be looking for a £1000 allowance towards this if it's not been done.
