I also objected to paying LR £500 for a set of lights.
So shopping around ........
might be able to get these for around £65!
But would need a few pairs nothing definate.
8" dia, Stainless steel shell with removeable cover.
I modified the covers to look like this [sorry for the muck - Tong lake]

Are those the Wipac ones? Fitted some to my mate's Defender a few weeks back. Not bad for the money, I'll probably be fitting some to our 90 at some point, although the LF170s keep calling.....I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

don't think so, there was no branding on them!
do the Wipac ones not have '4+4' on the cover?
It's certainly a solid enough light .....
but still not got around to wiring them up!I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.

soooooo many lights.....
KEN, I disagree with you disagreement
The thread started talking about lights on the bumber/a bar (where I have mine) rather than the roof, and they make little difference. OK they may look nice.
No idea what they are like on the roof though.Duncan
