Engine broken/Discovery Doctors/Engine rebuilld
So it looks like my engine has gone. Bl dy brexit.
I will ship it back to the UK to deal with this but as normal funds are a little tight.
My plan was to use DM in a more planned and budgeted situation than I find myself in but the distance is a fair bit further so the transportation costs will increase and Mike only fits new units.
I have been seeing a few other companies being mentioned doing rebuilds with genuine cranks. One being Discovery Doctors at Melton Mowbray. Has anyone had any dealings with them?
If you prefer send me a direct message.

I would seriously consider the, relatively, small additional expense of shipping to DM. If you really can't do this consider Oval Autos, who are well thought of here:-

1959 MGA roadster - 1.9L Peter Burgess Engine - 5 speed gearbox
Past LRs - Multiple FFRs, Discos & a Series I - some petrol, some diesel,
none Electric or H2 fuel cell - yet.

Wasn't there mention of one of the forum members in South West England (Taunton?) that does engine replacements? (Sorry - I'm new here and don't remember the name) It's a bit closer to France for transport....
