Failed mot on a fair bit
Afternoon all, car failed mot and I have had a quote for doing the work
In your opinions is 5 hrs a fair estimate and is 60 quid an hour around going rate
Came as a shock 🙄

Thank you both - just came as a surprise as it has passed the last 3 without any issues and you loose track of costs etc

The most worrying part for me, other than not doing it DIY is I'm fairly sure the rear suspension doesn't have any ball joints, other than the drop links and panhard (?) rods that would be replaced as 'units'.
Have the rear sections of the brake pipes been replaced yet...if not I'd replace the whole section and flexis at the same time.Black 05 TDV6 HSE Auto

Exactly that! And yes all brake pipes are being done at same time, hopefully they will not find any thing else to add to my woes
