Farting Dashboard/Aircon

I seem to remember someone somewhere complaining about a farting dash.

well mines started doing it, normally just after starting the car. the farts are coming from the passenger side so its not me and I know its not MrsDiscoDunc cos it does it when i'm on my own.

does anyone know what the problem was and how to fix it (is there a TSB ?)
