Fault code B0091 Left Side Restraints Sensor 1 (Subfault) |
|
Hi, picked up my 56 plate Discovery 3 two weeks ago, very very pleased.
However, I have had the AIRBAG light on and off for a few days now.
It seems like when I open the passenger door, it triggers it.
When I plugged it into the diagnostic box, this was the fault.
"B0091 Left Side Restraints Sensor 1 (Subfault)"
I've looked everywhere on the net, but no one says what or where this is.
All the cables and plugs look ok under the seats.
Any ideas guys?
Cheers
Dalek....

Did you find out what causes the error message?
My IID Tool diagnostics reports the same, I've cleared the error twice over the last 3 days...

Hi,
Mine turned out to be the connector between the passenger side door pillar and the door.
Bit of a job to remove, but gave the contacts a clean and touch wood, it's been ok.
For a test, open the passenger door, you'll see the rubber sleeving, push the part that connects to the door
pillar, then give it a try. That worked for a quick fix.
