After a bumpy start with Land Rover manufacturing scheduling and a few months delay the car arrived, although without rear air condition as specified.. I decided that I could live without RAC and picked the D4 up today.
I must admit that I have had a few nights where I questioned my decision for Rimini Red, but I wanted something different and all the other D3/4's around here are black or silver, they do look good, don't get me wrong I just wanted something a bit different, the relief when I saw the car today was therefore a pleasant surprise! I tried to take a picture of it but can't get the camera to show the color as it is IRL. Anyways, it looks good and suits the car better than I expected!

Next on the list is a few minor mods like sump guard, rock/tree sliders, 19" winter wheels, ladder, roof rack and ... some more, can't wait!
btw: I remember someone asked for a picture of the seat covers, I can't remember the thread so here is a picture below.

Looking great - what is that guard ?
Looking great. haven't seen one yet in that color in the USA. Question -- what is that dog / cargo guard right behind the 1st row seats ? is that a LR accessory?
The reason for the cargo guard behind the front seats is because I ordered the 7-seater version delivered as a "commercial" version. This is quite common in Norway due to stupidly high taxes on private cars.
The car is delivered with all the gadgets including seats, airbags and belts and is then converted to a commercial version some place in Norway. It is fully possible to convert it back to a 7-seater without any visible damages to the interior. I can then re-register it in a few years time and pay a lot less in tax.
The price for mine delivered as a commercial version is around 120.000 USD.
If I bought it as a registered 7-seater the price would have been around 195.000 USD.
The only difference between the two options above is tax!
