incidentally, we all do it. But really, what is the value of obscuring the license plate?

I suppose it is because there are scammers who could use the pictures on one of the car-sales sites, complete with links to the genuine car details - tax & mot history etc, leading to deposits paid, bank details passed over etc. Or even just someone putting these plates on a very similar but untaxed, uninsured car and avoiding any risk of being spotted by an ANPR camera or the routine scanning that the Police do while out on the road.Previously:

can’t agree… proper procedures need mandate an ownership and insurance certificate. everything else is public, anyways.
And frankly, what do I care if someone wants to copy my plate number. It has no bearing on me.
Its interesting how rumor and innuendo manifests as reality and common place.

I concur. I think all the AutoGlym products are great.

got the leather care balm and poor boys polish for dark cars and poor boys canuba wax.
putting it on with auto glym polish aplicators and buff with auto glym polishing cloths.
