I have had my disco for a week now -- megagrin  -- just over 700 miles on the clock.
Runs like a dream, so smooth after 8 years in a Defender 90. The brakes seemed to pull left under breaking at first, but this appears to have gone away as they have bedded in.
PTI worked straight away with my Nokia 6230i and the phone book appeared on the screen. I did need to make some changes to the phone book as PTI does not allow you to see multiple numbers stored under one name (in the phone eg Home, Mobile, Work) which is a pity!
Disco3 sticker in the back window already.
Mud flaps, cargo barrier and Mantec guard to be fitted over the weekend.
Just need to sell the Defender  before I can add any more accessories!  Discovery 3 XS Auto, Stornaway, Active rear diff.

Nice one!!
Interesting to hear about the PTI changes, sounds like the firmware has been upgraded to a similar level to the Freelander 2 8)

08MY does have the improved PTI, as you say presumably the same or similar to the FL2 version The End

Martin, can you confirm you were using bluetooth, or have your 6230i in the cradle? IE - 05 D3 TDV6 HSE - Zambezi Silver

What does the improved PTI software do. Mines an 06 and Ive had the Phone book on screen from day 1. is there something else I'm missing  Duncan

bkehoe -- this is with the cradle.
DiscioDunc -- All I know is that, from reading posts here, in some cases the phone book was not showing up, it was never clear to me if this was to do with the software (I call it firmware) of the phone or the PTI sofware. Discovery 3 XS Auto, Stornaway, Active rear diff.

Martin, this is probably from people referring to the bluetooth operation - which hasn't allowed phonebook downloading in the past. I don't suppose you could give your phone a try with bluetooth, and see how it works? IE - 05 D3 TDV6 HSE - Zambezi Silver

Connection via Bluetooth also displays the phone book, it also displays the numbers dialed list first before the phone book appears. I have not found out how to switch between these, or indeed if that's possible.
Mantec guard is now fitted as are the front mud flaps.
The others bits have to wait 'till Monday as the delivery I was expecting could not make it to me due to an accident and the road into the village being then closed in both directions! Discovery 3 XS Auto, Stornaway, Active rear diff.
