Now I don't wish to get too anal about this, however, there is something, admittedly not so much here on Disco3, that seriously annoys the crap out of me and I can't be on my own.
I'm alright with the odd spelling mistake, we all make those, and I'm alright with seeing the odd word used out of context, ( I can even tolerate somebody constantly posting about their breaks, when they really mean their brakes ) but there is one thing that annoys the crap out of me and it seems to happen with such frequency, somebody has to say something.
Please pay attention, I will say this only once....................if you have been to a shop and purchased an item, please, please do not post that you have brought something. You didn't bring it, you bought the feckin thing!! There is no r in bought, get it right................please.
I know I'm not on my own.
Oh yes, btw, if you've been linked to this post by somebody else on another thread, it's because you're guilty of committing the above sin................now go back and correct it.Mods:

It depends on context. If SWMBO bought me a nice bottle of vino then SWMBO also brought me a nice bottle of vino. Sadly she did neither.
And what's worse our train line into The Big Smoke is in chaos so no stuffing face with Dim Sum tomorrow in China Town.

It doesn't depend on context at all, it depends on somebody being a complete numpty or not........................and anyway, your missus isn't likely to buy you a bottle of vino because she knows you're not allowed to have money spent on things for yourself, like wine, torches etc. and the next bargain you're not allowed. Luckily she knows about the £250 watch that I bought myself today. If I tried to sneak that in under the radar I'd be well kippered.
