Front Bumper Tow Eye Cover - Plastic Retaining Clips

I need to remove the front bumper tow eye cover which I don’t think has been taken off in years!
The first retaining clip flat head snapped straight off when I tried loosen it and turn in 90 degrees.

Before I attempt to do the others, any tips on how to get them out easily without snapping them?

Thanks in advance....
 Mick

Usually a wee push up with the screwdriver whilst turning works for me

50p coin is the perfect size and shape... if not replacements are only about a fiver or less on fleabay.. I usually keep a few spares in my toolbox, otherwise borrow some from your tow electrics cover until replacements arrive!

The plastic cufflink buttons are easy to replace it's the metal clip they slot into that tend to disappear into oblivion you need to be aware of.
 It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

I think cold weather also plays its part as snapped all mine off the other day!

Good advice to push up when unclipping, also a 2p coin works as well Laughing if you want to save money!
