Front Headrest DVD
Hi, have searched the web for a cost effective solution for DVD's being mounted in the headsets of our 05 HSE Discovery 3. Can purchase replacement headrests inc DVD player ex alibaba express for A$200, but of course with the damn grab handles they don't fit.
With the 3 sunroofs and second row aircond controls extremely difficult, a ceiling flip down just would not work.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry if I sound a num nut, but when you say make a cut for the grab handles, could you give me a little more info ?
Thanks so much.

Wiggs what do you think to them headrest screens, I'm currently looking into installing a set and been trying to compare between the competitors ie rosen, the type macload installed etc.
I had a quick look on the site you posted a link to, are those prices just for one screen or a pair? And do they include all the relevant cables etc.

Haha sorry sir no disrespect... Have you saw wiggs screens by any chance? Spoke to TLO about those you have and he can get hold of a D4 versions what's more or less a straight swap, but I imagine same screens as what u have
I've got the Rosen system, includes some simple games and can play external sources eg games console. Looks pretty good (car's out at the mo', I'll post some pix later).
Headrests look good, grab handles remain in place.
Mind you it's broken right now ... No sound (except complaints from the kids obvo). Probably one wire broke or unplugged somewhere. Into the experts next week.____

Excellent for the money ...much better than the freelander ones ...and a screen you can see
Play any dvd ( multiregion ) , has sd card and usb slot aswell ..plays pretty much any format .I have mine linked so you can watch individual films or the same on both screens .
Look down the bottom of the link ..2 headrest dvd/screens , 2 wireless headphones all cables ( mine also came with screen arials as they have tv built in ..although i never tryed the tv side as i have a factory fit one ) $339 ...about £210
Put a set in ENT's car aswell ..hes well chuffed with them . I think he's going to get some more for his new D4 ( dont need to cut the headrests as no grab handles )
Oh ..they have fm transmitter built in aswell ..so just tune the radio in and sound throughout the car G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

They look good but I think the beige one looks a bit darker than the leather in my car
has anyone brought the beige ones?

Hi,
Yes, I bought beige headrest DVD.
Effectively, it's a little bit darker than my Alpaca trim but not very noticeable thought...
