Fuel Door Latch

Evening,

I just broke the fuel door latch. It's got a rubber springy boot on it.

I know that's a pretty crap description but can take a picture if needed.

Could you let me know how much a new one would be?

I think,from a quick search,the part comes as a repair kit,DA1114 ? "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool,than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

Locking rear E-diff
RLD spare wheel protector & sump guard
Extended roof rails
Series 111 mudflaps
Black side tubes,grill and vents
Timed climate remote
Hids4u interior lights

D4 Firenze my2012 HSE
D3 Java 2005 SE manual (sold,sadly,thanks for the memories)
1966 '88 Series 2a....still starts in the morning better than I do...

I broke the small diaphragm part on mine,it's not an uncommon failure I believe......if Steve at AF hasn't got it,I'm sure one of the other site sponsors would be able to help... Thumbs Up "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool,than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

If it's a common fault then that make'll it easier to explain to SWMBO when more stuff arrives.

I searched on here.... And got this....most issues will have been covered,and while the search function can be a bit clunky with multiple words,it's worth persevering....try "fuel" "filler" "cap" etc Thumbs Up

Funnily enough i have just fixed my filler flap tonight.

Its prob just this bit you need...
