Fuel tank- where does this black pipe connect to?
I've dropped my fuel tank due to a rotten cradle and choked pump strainer but when I went to refit the pump unit I realised there is a black pipe running forward with no fitting at the pump end and I don't remember disconnecting it. I have an idea it wasn't connected. Does anyone know the answer?
I can't find a good diagram of the in-tank plumbing.

Hi
Could it be a vapour breather pipe or going towards the engine the fuel supply for the FBH ?
Also just looked in the parts manual , here’s the link

It's not the for the FBH.
This simplified tank diagram shows one pipe drawing from the front (left) of the tank and you can see in my photo there is two pipes- one white with a quick connector and a black one with nothing on the end.
