are they safe to be installed on a new car, mine is only 4mths old and not sure if should try this??? but looking at the recent fuel price rices make me think may be I should try this...
I really like to see what the LR D3 legends/gurus have to say about this... your feedback is greatly appreciated thanks...

On your age of car I wouldn´t touch it with a barge-pole, difficult on a modern petrol to make it more efficient other than by leaning out the mixture, given how lean a modern engine runs this may well be into too-lean territory with possible engine damage....I wouldn´t risk your warranty.

Even after the warranty expires I´d be extremely sceptical of any petrol remap/tune that claims anything, fundamentally the engine will flow the same amount of air as before and the engine will be designed to operate on a certain fuel mixture, go outside that close range and engine damage is a real possibility - esp in hot conditions.
 Cheers

You'll find it is a 2 pence resistor used to confuse the air flow meter, it is worthless and can damage the engine.
