Halos all fitted now

Finally got round to fitting and connecting my halos...

Look good even if I say so myself! (In my opinion)

Main ones are 120mm, fogs are 80mm <- (including this for future reference for others as it took me a while to find the dimensions.)

Haha, I did miss that one. I was searching halo, never mind. 80mm is a perfect (tight) fit.

How are these wired? On a separate switch, as I don't see your sidelights on, some folk wire them to the side lights..............which is a bit naughty.

At the moment they take their supply from the Smog connector which is unused behind the grille. It becomes active basically when the car is awake.

Which is a bit too often for my liking so will be moving to a permanent live and ignition live when I finish the aux battery install. I've still got some ambers and switching to add in so will also be adding a switch to disable them if need be. They dim when the sidelights are active as they are blinding at night.

Thanks for the tip.

Not sure which one I ended up using, but I'll have a look. I assume the green wire is active less.

Green Smog Wire

Getting ready for my DRL's. I think all my wires in tghe smog connector are black on mine, maybe US model was different.
Does anyone know what pin position the green wire in in the connector?
