Headlights on All the Time

Hi
as the title says, can the headlights be set using an IID Tool, to be on all of the time?

Keith
 Cheers

Certainly can. It's called "Scandinavian" mode. Think there's also a similar "Canadian" mode, not sure what the difference is.

Someone here (Narpy I think) did a mod involving screening off the light sensor in the mirror housing. Then Auto would be on but not sidelights on once ignition off. Looking at another Scandinavian Road Trip next year so would be useful. Thumbs Up

I understand "Canadian" mode is just the front lights but "Scandinavian" is front and rear lights.

What I'd like to know is:

In the D4, with the lights set to Auto, and the "Scandinavian" feature set, is it just the sidelight LEDs that light up, or the whole dipped beam? If the latter, it would seem pointless ever having the lights in the Auto position (you may as well just have them "on")

Canadian is headlight, side, tail and numberplate lights, at least on D3.

SDV6 Auto obviously, Loire blue/Ebony, ugly kid glass, RLD wheel protector, private plate and maybe side steps.
