Heater control illumination
I've had my MY12 HSE since March now and, by and large, I'm very happy with it. I have a couple of minor niggles which my much less fussy wife doesn't even notice.
Slow reaction times on inputting to the sat nav - seems I'm not alone on this.
Occasional clicking sound from the dashboard just behind the instrument binnacle. Others have had this also. Is there a LR reference for the fix?
Behind the two climate control temperature control knobs there is the usual blue to red (cold to hot) gradation. Mine is not illuminated at night. Should it be?

Agree on the sat nav etc.
Haven't had the clicking noise from the dash
and you'll have to wait until it's dark to confirm the heaterillumination.Cheers Ian

Yes they should be iluminated you can adjust them on the dial by the light switch.MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

Well just been out in the car and the red and blue bits do not illuminate on my car either as thsi poor photo shows

Likewise no illumination of the blue>red colouring around the dial - does anyone have it illuminated on a D4?

Nope - why would it if the temps displayed in big bright numbers?

We can now draw a straight line through at least 3 points- so must assume that the coloured scale ain't supposed to be illuminated. So if yours isn't - don't fret If it don't fit the third time - try a bigger hammer
