Hello from Turkey :)

Over in Ankara Turkey for a few days visiting family. Had a couple of days where we’ve had 2-3 inch of snow overnight and the off road community is pretty big over here. Plenty of D3’s / D4’s, and I’ve seen a couple of new Defender 110’s as well, which considering the price, and the standard 40% tax on new car imports have surprised me! Thought I’d drop a couple of pickies on here, the fiat must be the smallest “fully loaded” off road vehicle I’ve come across Smile

And I think the roof tents a bit excessive
On this one Smile

Hey Bud, thanks for checking Smile we’re all good, flew back Saturday, we were in Ankara so other side of the country from Gazienteppe. They did have some warning so I’m surprised how bad the casualty rate is at the moment, there was a 4.7 on Friday in the same area that was reported on the local news.

Good to hear you’re ok. Terrible scenes over there.

I remember when the "new" Panda came out a road test took it into the Italian Alps. The local plod turned up in an old model Panda 4x4 with blue lights on which was the preferred option in snow.

We had one in the 80's, a simple dog clutch between axles saw us trundling past a number of Chelsea tractors with wheels spinning because the drivers had no idea how to set them up for snow.
