Help Bank numbering TDV6 in IIDTOOL

Hello

I'm trying to sort out [u]for sure how the IIDTOOL bank numbering correlates to the other definitions.
I did many searches and got many different answers (or non at all...)
Maybe my question is too stupid...

Bank identification for EGR issues : Bank 0/Bank 1

Other definitions on the net Bank 1 / Bank 2, Bank A / Bank B, LH Bank / RH Bank, Offside Bank...
Some are talking about passengers side.... drivers side

The IIDTOOL values let me to the conclusion that I have to change valve on Bank 0. As the 2 valves used on the TDV6 (EURO4 with DPF in my case) are different, It's important to know which valve to order, not spoken of the amount of work in case of choosing the wrong side.

So can anyone tell me correctly if valve 0 is on the side of cilinder 1 or on the side of cilinder 4?
It would be a great help, not only to me I guess.

Blanking is not an option for me at the moment due to future changing policy by Belgian MOT...

Manny thanks,
Chris

all I can say is,
disconnect the EGR you suspect.
drive the car and get it warm.
read the fault codes, do you only get fault codes saying the same bank as previously? If yes, that helps confirm it.
Clear codes.

If you want, reconnect, and then unplug the good side

drive the car and get it warm.
read the fault codes,
is it saying the other side now ?

I followed your suggestion, unplugged the valves and looked what happened with the EGR live values.

I confirm bank 0 is at the Right hand side of the engine seen from inside the vehicle.
(At the side of cilinder N° 1 on the picture)

Hopefully this can help other forum members.
