Any ideas on grinding noise
So it starts!!
I'm getting a grindingnoise from front left hand side when in fulllock either way left or right. Sounds like the wheel is rubbing up against the inner wall. Have checked and no obvious signs of rubbing.
Any ideas?? Cheers

Lads , don't want to sound like a real newbie, but have the stop locks got another name? I've looked on the workshop disc and cant find any reference to it or where to grease?

Trying to make sense and hopefully learn something here.
The stop nut is on the Lower control arm and when the wheel is on fulllock engages into the V on the wheel knuckle, hub and bearing assembly, but in my case because the stop nut is dry it's metal on metal causing the grindingnoise when I turn.
Does that sound right or should I start again??
To dark to go playing underneath now.
Cheers

I've been known to get the dremel out and give them a whizz with a scotchbrite pad too.

Correct. It is a known issue, and LR even released a TSB about the fix.

Thankfully they don't; access height still has some suspension travel.
