2016 Discovery 4 3.0 SDV6 Graphite LE Auto Loire Blue

Just got mine too. Just tried updating it on a Mac. The Updater says the Current Firmware is "V3.00.00 Build" (no numbers after build). The available firmwares are :

- 3.00.00 Build 2913 (Release
- 3.00.00 Build 2184 (Special

If I select the first option and Program Firmware, it says "Your IIDTool is about to be updated from firmware version 3.00.00 Build 2204 to version 3.00.00 Build 2193 (Release)".

Looks like my tool has a newer firmware than is available from the internet - or am I missing something?

Thanks for the reply re: the firmware.

The tool is amazing! I have installed the remote heat equipment and used the IIDTool to set the CCF. Minor panic when the car came up with an ECU error in the dashboard but I cleared this and it hasn't returned.

I'm getting a strange reading on the windshield temperature. Is this a possible issue with the way the tool is reading the stats from the car, or is it the car publishing a crazy value?

if your windshield temp is 520C, you have some major issues

There is a quick test for this:

If the glass is malleable into any shape of your choosing the sensor and IID values are correct.

If the glass is still shaped like a windscreen the IID is incorrect and you need to email Gap.

How can I tell if it is malleable? It is far too hot to touch, but it does still look like a windscreen so fingers crossed.

I have emailed Gap.
