recently "won"on ebay for £52 plus £10 r/mail 1st class.6"kogan (they are an ozzi company)they have a huge spec,gps gives names of roads etc,also has audio/dvd/photo and e book.download your cds etc on mini chip and they play through the the cars audio system(no wiring to do)bluetooth,games etc.it works really well and so far well pleased,they have a warehouse in the uk,backup was brilliant,i had a prob setting up and a guy called me from ozz and talked me through it.it would suit models like mine without oem satnavs and fits the cubby nicely(see gallery)they are still advertising them.from what i gather they manufacture and distrubute them.

Wow - what a lot they got! Some might even work in the UK. I see they are in HongKong - any idea in whose dollars they are pricing thing - HK, Aus, USoA? The unit Sandy has does look very good and very easy to use, it also seem to fit in well. I looked at it in place the other day and for the price believe it is a good buy. MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

If I remember correctly, the Deals Extreme site is in US$$$.
Most of their GPS can be programmed to take what you want. I have a 5" model and have had Tom Tom, IGO8 and Oziexplorer CE installed on it.

Nice find  , looks the perfect fit. Do you need the chrome bits to hold it in our they you're own touch???
What kinda fitting kit comes with it or is it just the standard dash mount suction pad thingy?? A happy childhood ... is the worst possible preparation for life.

hi all
when fitting there is approx 4-5mm either side to infil,i used a couple of bits of wbp ply sanded down,and stuck the chrome trim on to finish it,i may still modify it a bit but swmbo likes it  russell had a look and thought it looks ok. i had to get a 90deg plug to go into the power socket as the one they supply is straight and the fit was awkward.regarless of its origins,it seems a good bit of kit for the price and the backup,excellent. s/steel side tubes,door trims with bright inlay,front and rear light guards,half chrome mirror caps,mud flaps,chrome finishers on boot and rear bumper step,chrome finishers round gear shift and cup holders,chrome door handle covers.d/4 grille conversion,chrome foglamp bezzells,parrot bluetooth.***sadly missed**********

hi tanters
the unit comes complete with a screen mount,a usb cable for computer coupling, a 12v connector and a mini chip and a chip adaptor for downloading cd,s,pictures,dvd,s etc before you put it in the car.
