just spotted this. Been getting the same thing with what I thought was the viscous fan. 2 issues really, one with the fan seeming to cut in quite a lot (ok, most of the time when warm.) the other is a distinct lack of power or much stronger delay in power than I've had before.
Particularly noticeable when driving over San bernadino pass the other day. Reminded me of the road up to the alps place in Orciere and the drop in power we had in Bobbycrispbox's car.

Not sure it's egr valve as economy is still 27mpg even with the roofbox and 65-85 mph.

Any other ideas? Got the travel back through the riviera over the weekend and through France next week. Don't think it's worth a dealer visit over here though.

Bodsy, I'd say mine is on 50% of the time in the current weather (unladen, no roof box). Are you thinking that's unusual? The engine temp appears to be kept static (if you can believe the temp gauge needle). Dr. Ian Malcolm:
"Yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should."
Transgenic tomato anyone?

Added a bottle of 'Wyns injector protector'.
Went out and gave it some wellie.
Ran it on Auto/Sport mode.
Plenty of Kickdown with Turbo/JE Tune producing blue/grey smoke

Must've scared quite a few others, certainly scared me Shocked
It was woosh, woosh all the way.
Seems far more responsive now. Smile
But will wait til tomorrow and see how it performs on a new day.
