HI Had misfortune to damage rear light on my new D4, Fitted replacement today cost £158 ,easy job no problems but looking to the future if a led lamp fails on indicator,rear light,brake light there appears to be no means of replacing leds other than replacing the whole lighting unit, as the led lighting is a sealed unit. How long will the LED lighting last as it will be very costly to rectify a blown lamp.Have no previous experience with leds if just one led in the circular pattern fails will the rest stay lit and would the failure of one led mean mot failure?

LEDs dont blow in the same way as ordinary lamps.....I would say that your lights will outlast the car
