LR-D3 Connecting an MP3 player or USB flash for audio |
|
Greetings,
Happy nu yr to all!!!
I'm a very new proud LR-D3 owner and very new to this forum, would love to get some advise from the experts on on my LR-D3 and its enhancements that I could do...
I own a LR-D3 SE '07 model, it only came with single CD player with no MP3, was wondering if I could connect my MP3 player through the AUX port to the main audio?
The main audio has a AUX button but no ports for connection, behind the center console under the vents there was a blank face plate when I took this off, I found three connectors hanging, I think one of them is Power (12V) and not sure what the other two are for, can I do something with those to connect an MP3 player?
Any assistance on this would be greatly appreciated.
many thanks in advance.
Cheers

firstly thanks Willmyth, appreciate your time, since my car is very new I'm a bit reluctant to do serious stuff if you know what I mean
the Aux connection at the back underneath the air vents, its currently blank, when I took the blank cover out I found three connectors thinking if I get 19C059 part which has the connectors(?) for aux and 12v would that do the job?
Also has anyone managed to connect a usb flash for LR-D3
cheers

Currently the only way of connecting a USB flash is to buy the LR ipod kit LR006972, this also negates the need for the rear aux input and you don't have the problem with the difference in volume levels
