Any moment now

I have ignored the horror stories and am about to take delivery of a new TDV6 HSE. It is my first Land Rover so fingers crossed!

Thank you for the welcome! I know several folk here who have Disco 3s or Range Rovers and all are delighted. Fortunately Warsaw is pretty SUV friendly (bad roads certainly help) so there is non of the PC anti 4x4 nonsense to worry about. And, as an Englishman, what else could I drive?

Silver ones are better - it's a known fact!

Especially if they come equipped with accessory on your atavar (which most do in Poland....)! Although I do like blue anyway, the deciding factor was that the dealer had the blue one in stock and, having seen it, I couldn't resist it. But you are right, silver is a very good colour too.

I am in the legal profession. I started my own firm here three years ago (althoug I have been here much longer). Running your own busines has its ups and downs so the car is an incentive to keep slogging away!

They seem perfectly capable of finding their own way there without my help! The seven seats means that the whole family will able to travel in one vehicle instead of two thus making a positive contribution to the environment - not that the eco terrorists would see it that way, of course.

My brother lives and works in Warsaw (British Council). He says he can't find a sparky, or plumber or a bricky for love nor money Laughing

Yes - they've all gone to the UK and Ireland. Thank goodness we renovated our house just before the exodus began Mr. Green .
