Nav on the move
Hi Guys does anyone know the software update version for my 2006 D3 for Nav on the move, Trans reset, reverse lights for coming home? I have a Nanocom Evolution and have done some changes already.
1) Flash the Front Entertainment Module (FEM - AKA Touchscreen) with the special file labelled "Nav_on_the_move"
2) Set the CCF option "Mode for Navigation Interface (Nav on Move)" to enabled.
3) Flash the FEM again with a normal software version.
2 can be done at any point, but naturally, 3 must come after 1.
NB: You must have at least the 2007 navigation disc for this to be enabled. You can check the MMM (Multi Media Module) firmware using the hidden navigation menu - you need version 1040 or higher.
Flashing the FEM takes a long time, so suitable backup power is a must.
Reverse FMH lights are simply a CCF option.
By trans reset I presume you mean the gearbox adaptive reset? This is not a flash, just a service routine. You must ensure the transmission is cool before doing it.
