| New D4....13 September...counting the days |

After much faffing about over new vs nearly new, colours and specs I have ordered a new D4 XS in stornoway grey with almond and arabica. Rear view camera, grand black lacquer, ipod lead added. Now I have made all the decisions I can't wait... can anyone suggest ways of passing the time until the car arrives in a diverting D4 related way.
Also, was I mad to buy the XS rather than put in another £7k for the HSE? Is it true that you can 'activate' some HSE features on an XS?

Speak to Pete at BAS site sponser, he can work his magic o your new car. I believe that wiggs may also be able to help with some stuff on D4's. MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

As you may have seen in another thread, Ive just been told that my order will not be fulfilled this year! It looks as though my order was in about a month before yours too.
Id be interested to know if yours was against an existing dealer build slot ?

I put my order in about 2 weeks ago and it was for a dealer build slot so I think (hope!) I am safe but really sorry to hear about your delay. Does this mean you pay VAT at 20%? You must be fuming.
