Oil leak... Some advice needed

Hiya
My 2006 has an oil leak which I think is more on the drivers side but will only know when I take the covers off this week.
Has anyone tried that wynns oil leak stop or similar just in case I can see where it is coming from.... I'm not the best on mechanics or leaks but don't mind having a go myself.

It will most likely be a vacuum pump seal if its on the right rear of the engine, its a pig of a job to do but can be done.
It would be a good idea to replace the pump if your removing it to replace the seal to prevent future problems.

Hi remove the main sump guard raise the suspension and place something underneath to stop it coming back down. If you look straight up above the starter motor you will see the rear outer corner of the cylinder head it should be silver in colour if oil is leaking from around there its most likely the vacuum pump.
from your photo its hard to tell but it looks like it might be rear crank seal

Need to find out if its leaking from higher up.

You could clean it off with brake cleaner and see what returns

Re

Cleaned the area along with the sump plate cover... The oil is coming from above that area but def not engine oil as too clear as in new engine oiland more or less same viscose as water... No smell to it
